A tour through Charazay
Charazay's website can be compared with a small community, where you're able to concentrate on your team, communicate with other users, do business, and follow the matches live. Your most important tool on the site is the main menu, on the left hand side of he screen with the different sub-menus for your team.Charazay Basketball Manager (CBM) is an international game with leagues in different countries. You'll be placed in the country where you've registered yourself, and when you log in to your account you'll notice the official announcements page, you should make it a habit to always read that page. The day after you've registered you'll probably be able to start managing your team (if abandoned or new teams are available, otherwise you'll end up on the country's waitinglist).
Helpdesk
This link can be found in the red toolbar on top.Main Menu - Your Team
This menu contains 5 sub-menus: Team, Players, Tactics, Training and Matches. Here is an explanation of each.
Your Team
This page displays your team name, teamID, username, userID, when you were active the last time, the date of registration, the number of supporters, your league, your arenaname, your country and all of your players. You can see whether players are injured (cross) or on the transfer market (dollar sign). The team page is the personal news page of your team. The page has one main function, it provides the official news of your team, like matches you've played, transfer news, etc. In the center of the page you'll find the news column dedicated entirely to your club. This is where you'll see if someone is attempting to outbid you in the transfer market, if you have had an invitation to a cup or how many new supporters have joined your club on Friday.
Players
This is a list of your club's players. The player list is the best way to get an assessment of your squad. You'll see your player's age, form, height, weight, value, salary and of course the skills. And eventually information when your player is injured. If you need detailed information, click on the individual player to bring up his own page, where you find a link to see his statistics. From here you can put players on the transfer list, and set the askingprice. Your opponents can also see a limited overview of the same information, unless the player is transferlisted, when everyone can see all details about him.
Tactics
This is where you keep track of your match orders. You have to set your players on the bench in order to get them to play in the match. Then you will have to set your type of play and finally you have to put your players into play (per quarter) If you have already given your orders, you can continue to change your match orders before the match starts, but to ensure that nothing goes wrong, we advise you to set your tactics at least 30 minutes before the start of the match. More info on this topic can be found in the Tactics section of this manual.
Training
It's important to have a good strategy for your team's future development, and training is the key to this. The training is updated on Wednesday (18:00). Before training starts you need to have selected what type of training the squad is to have for the week. Read more about the different alternatives in the Training section in this manual.
You will also able to pull a rookie from your youth squad to your A-squad (once a week). You have 3 options to invest money into picking up a new rookie. The more you invest, the better chance you have of picking up a good player. More about this can be found in the Rookie section in this manual.
In this page you will also have the possibility to hire a coach for your team and to manage all the options for the facilities available for your team.
Matches
This is the page that lists all the matches scheduled for your team.
Main Menu - Office
This part of the site is where you take care of business, you'll be able to find players on the transfermarket here, take care of your team economy, your arena and your friendly schedule.
Economy
The economic report is very important to read, you'll find the forecast of the week and the season results. More info can be found in the Economy section of this manual.
Transfermarket
This is the place to be if you want to sell a player, or buy one. Here you can see, if there are bids on your players, or for which players you currently are the highest bidder and also the remaining amount of incoming transfers. In the Transfers page further in this manual, there's more to read about this.
Private Cups
This page let's you create a cup (not the official cup of course) with a variable amount of CBMoney. If you have been invited to join a cup, this will also cost you the amount of CBMoney specified by the creator of the cup. The cup consists of 8 teams, playing 14 matches each. One match is played each day, at a time determined by when the cup was started by the creator of the cup (possible when cup is full). You won't earn money for those matches, neither will your players gain experience points. Your players will also not get tired from these matches, nor will they get injured, so it is a great way to meet different teams from all over the world.
Friendly
Here you find all the invitations of teams that have challenged you to play a friendly. Of course you've got the option to decline a friendly. A friendly match always attracts less people to your arena, so don't be surprised if you receive less money than in a normal league match.
All Stars
These are the best players per position in Charazay. You can challenge them for 10 CBMoney and every hour matches are played. At the end of the week (Friday 5:00 Charazay Time) there's a ranking of which team won with the best average against the All Stars. Then, when the week-update occurs, the team ranked at the top, wins 50 CBMoney, and it's handed out immediately.
