Introduction
Welcome to Golden Crop, the home to online farming!
We hope you enjoy your stay with us here at Goldencrop.
The game is obviously still in the process of being made with new features being added regularly, however there is still a lot you can do!
FARMING
Crops
Using the seeds you have purchased this is the place you can plant them. Just select the seed you wish to plant, enter the quantity and hit the button. Obviously you can only plant as many seeds as you have space for.
Once a crop is planted, you will be displayed with a timer. This timer tells you how long until you can water your crops. When the time is up, click the 'Water' button that appears. You can then sit back and relax in the safe knowledge your crop will not wilt. Before you click the water button you will also be issued with a second timer, this tells you how long until the crop wilts. If your crop does unfortunately wilt then you will have to remove it from your farm. After you've harvested the crops, you can either send them to shipping, convert them into animal food, or in the case of turnips, turn them into schnapps. Forget them and they'll rot.
Note: The timers will not display if Javascript is disabled on your browser.
There are now two new vehicles. The Speed Demon and the Armored Tricycle. They are rare and can only be found when planting crops. If you're interested, finding them is based on how many crops you plant and the length of time the crops take to plant (without the tool upgrades). This means people that can plant crops faster and have more farm slots will be more likely to find these new vehicles. You can also find other vehicles which, aren't as rare to find. So the more you plant the better your chances are.
Vegetable Converter
On the view & harvest page under your crop slots there is the option to buy a vegetable converter! It costs 13,999 to buy and will give you the ability to change grown vegetables into animal feed! To use this tool, grow some vegetables and harvest them. There is then a button to convert your vegetables. It takes a while to do because the process of converting it is very hard!
Farming Missions
These missions are a good way for a user to gain cash, aswell as experience.
There are currently three available
Land
Users are able to purchase a section of a region's land at a price of ?00,000 per square.
The land can be used for:
A piechart reveals how much land in the region is owned by each federation.
Farm Labour
This is where users advertise jobs that currently need doing, for other users to undertake e.g. cow milking & feeding/watering chickens.
To milk a cow, you must 'pull an udder' every 20 seconds exactly (or as close as possible). The closer to 20 seconds you get, the more 'points' will be added to the stats bar. You must reach 100 'points' to successfully produce milk! The owner of the milk barn can then barrel the milk produced, and sell it to a pub.
To feed & water chickens, all you have to do is simply click the button it gives you.
Trespassing
Trespass on another farmer's land stealing veggies as you go along. Trespassing is not always successful and you will not get something all the time.
ANIMALS
Cockral Fighting
Cock fights! Train your cockral and fight other's for cash!!
You can buy and sell these from the farmers market, also if you would like to put your poor cockral down click the kill your cockral button at the top of the cockral fighting page. There is a leaderboard but you have to have a very impressive record of wins and losses to make it onto there.
Turkey Shed
Make them fat and sell them on to slaughter houses. Don't forget to feed them, make sure they have enough water and save them from illnesses.
If you haven't yet got a turkey shed, go to Lumberjacks and buy one (especially with all the extras)
If you didn't buy all of the extras at the beginning you can now order the modifications seperately, however they cost more.
Mole Hunting
Hunt some moles...
Remember to hit the red squares! You will get paid ? for each red square that you hit but if you happen to hit a green square by accident then you lose ?, so keep your eye on the game and earn some cash. There is a fastest mole hunter, in order for you to get your name on this then you have to beat the current amount of moles killed along with this there is the best mole killer this is the person who has killed the most moles in total minus 3 moles for each green square that they hit.
FACILITIES
Farmers Market
Sell and bid for many things, this is just like ebay you can bid a quicksale price which means that you automatically win the item and other than that its just highest bid wins and the member who has the highest bid when the timer stops wins. The things that you can sell are cockerals, federations, casinos, lumberjack companies, seeds and vehicles. The prices will also be much cheaper or in some cases for example carrots and the two new vehicles which are very rare they will be much more expensive. Also remember you need to own a stall to sell or buy items. If you bid for an item on the farmers market, then you cannot have your bid removed.
Travel
You can travel to different regions
-Yorkshire
-Somerset
-Suffolk
-Burgundy
-Brecon Beacons
All the regions have different traveling times and have different gambling + slaughter house prices
The better vehicle the faster you can get to the region.
You now need fuel, if you don't have it you won't be traveling. You buy this from the petrol Station! But if you travel too much your vehicle will be destroyed as it gets damaged each time you travel, so try and get a vehicle with better durability.
Garage
This page enables you to see all the vehicles you currently own.
There is now a 'Detailed Vehicle Statistics' table, where you can find out all about the vehicle you currently have declared. You can find out what its strength in attacks, its durability, how many litres it can hold, what the miles per litre is, what damage it has sustained and finally what the vehicle speed is.
Bank
This is where you can bank your money for 24 hours and make varied interest on the amount you bank. There is a limit on how much you can bank the maximum is 10 million the reason for this is to keep the inflation down. Dont forget to invest wisely.
Sabotage Farm
This page allows the farmers with a little spare cash to muller other users farms. To attack someone you need to have 50,000. You will also need an ally in the attack. The allies weapon combined with your weapon and the vehicle you own will contribute to the amount of damage you do to the victims farm. If you and your ally are a lower rank than your victim you will do very little damage whereas if you are a high rank and your victim is a lower rank than you then you will do a lot more damage.
Turnip Schnapps
Here, users must purchase equipment to create turnip schnapps.
They require three pieces of equipment, generating equipment, barrelling equipment and fermenting equipment.
Different types of each piece of equipment are available for purchase:
Generating Equipment
Solar Powered Generator (generates its own power from the sun)
Diesel Powered Generator (requires money for fuel)
Wind Powered Generator (requires presence of wind)
Barrelling Equipment
Fast Pump
Slow Pump
Fermenting Equipment
Super Speed Fermenter
Super Yield Fermenter
Super Efficient Fermenter
To start making turnip schnapps, you need to plant turnip seeds. Once they are ready to be harvested, click the harvest button, but don't send them to shipping! (an amateurs mistake). Leave them in the storage bin, and proceed to plant another batch of seeds. (You have to be quick with this). Once these are ready to be harvested, click the harvest button, and then click the 'Make Turnip Schnapps' button. (If you find that you don't have enough turnips, or the turnips in the storage bin have rotted, then you must buy a better farming tool - so that the turnips are done quicker - and perhaps a larger piece of land - so that you can plant more turnips.)
Once you have enough turnips ready to be fermented, click on the picture of the turnips and they should start to ferment (providing nothing goes wrong). Fermenting turnips takes a long time, but this time does go down once you start gaining experience. Once your turnips have finished fermenting, you will need to taste them. If they pass the 'taste test', then they are ready for barrelling. You will need to purchase a barrel from a lumberjack company in order to do this. After the turnip schnapps have been barelled, you can then select the barrel from your store cupboard, and choose a price for it to be sold at.
The amount of turnips needed to produce a batch of turnip schnapps varies depending on the equipment bought (between 110-180 turnips). There is risk of losing your turnips at every stage of schnapps making, especially if your experience is low.
