Introduction
With the disappearance of king Targon also the country Aris fell into darkness.
Since a quarter century his younger brother Halgan rule with an iron fist. After a catastrophe on a small island in the east could be farther, unnoticed by the most, now there is coming up a new one in the north.

The Game
The currencies: Gold coins and Bloodstones
In the left upper corner you can see your gold coins and Bloodstones. Those are the currencies valid in Aris.
While the gold coins are relatively new the Bloodstones have existed for a long time before the first humans came to Aris. At the beginning your adventurer has 50 gold coins and 15 Bloodstones available - as time passes they can amount to huge treasures!
You primarily receive Gold as a fee after work and as reward for passed adventures. But also if you sell old items or successfully duel other adventurers.
Hint: The easiest way to gain gold coins in the beginning is to attack your friends! How to do this is explained in the e-mail you received after your registration.
Bloodstones can not be found but maybe Alina, the beautiful Bloodstone merchant, is able to help you if you need more Bloodstones.
Hint: You are also able to sell the Bloodstones back to Alina. - Every Bloodstone is worth 10 gold coins.
Character menu
With a click on Character you get all the information you need about your character.
First choose a portrait for your character by clicking on the empty portrait window.
Character values
Next to your portrait you will also find the details next to your name...
Level shows how experienced you are. The higher your level the more experienced your character is. With every new level all your attributes are automatically increased by one point. Moreover the merchant will offer you better items.
You can gather Fame in successful duels with other adventurers. The higher your fame, the higher your rank in the Hall of Fame.
Rank shows your current position at the Hall of Fame.
You will receive Experience when you go on adventures. The number behind the backslash shows how many experience points you need for your next level.
Under the picture you can see your attributes. You can train them with gold coins which will get harder and more expensive every time.
Hint: If you don`t have enough gold coins to train your attributes the price next to them will be shown in red. The attributes themselves are shown in white as long as they are not increased by any magic equipment - then they will be shown in blue.
Strength is equivalent to to your body force. Your strength directly influences the damage you make during your attacks.
Dexterity is important to be able to hit during a fight. The cleverer you are, the higher the possibility to hit an opponent - and not the other way round.
Constitution determines your life energy. The more constitution you have, the more and harder hits you can take during a fight. After the fight you are healed automatically.
Intelligence is the key to magic. The higher your intelligence, the better you are able to avoid spells from your opponent. Also the spell damage you deal is increased.
Under the attributes you will to find a text field where you can to enter your own character description. This text is visible for other players. Please abstain from any obscenities and non-english character descriptions as those can lead to a ban of your account.
On the right side of the character screen you can to see your inventory. Here you can have a look at your equipment. Above you can see which equipment you are currently wearing. If you put your mouse pointer over an item you will see a short text with all the information you need about that item.
On the right you can see a small shield
the value behind it shows your armour. The higher the armour, the less damage you take from opponent attacks.
Messages
Here you can send messages to other players. Just enter the name of the receiver in the top and your message in the middle field.
After clicking on „Send“ you will receive a short confirmation. The receiver then gets an E-Mail with your text and is able to answer in the same way as you wrote the mail. Your character name is visible to the receiver, but not your E-Mail address.
Hint: If you do not want to receive any messages from other players just deactivate the check box at the bottom of this menu.
