Tavern, Quests and Expeditions
First of all, I will give you a suggestion. Some users might not agree on this vision, but it really appears to work if you are not a premium user. And this suggestion is: Do not use your Expedition Points, unless you have a quest which requires you to do so.
In the Tavern, you will be able to take on Quests. You can choose between Easy, Standard or Hard Quests. You will notice Hard Quests give you more rewards, and have more parts to do. However, they will, of course, be harder to do too. You are also able to cancel the quest you are currently on, but will not receive a reward if you do. Some important things to know about quests:
What could you be asked to do?
1. Get somebody an item. – To complete this quest, you have two options. The first, and probably the best in case of expensive items, is to do an expedition. You will then get the item you were sent out to get. Be sure to remove it from your Package and add it to your Inventory, or it won't work! Then return to the Tavern, or to another point the one who gave you the Quest wants you to go. However, if you were told to get some cheap item, you also have the possibility to buy it in the Market. It will still be delivered to your packages and you can still give it to the guy you’re supposed to return it to.
2. Defeat a Gladiator in the Arena. – To complete this quest, go to the Arena and fight a Gladiator. After defeating him, go to the place the quest wants you to go. Please note: You should fight somebody from your ‘own placing’ list, not a gladiator much weaker than you are (exception made if those are actually in your own placing list ) .
3. Explore one of the surrounding scenes. – To complete this quest, go out of the City to the Surroundings. Click the one you were told to examine. You should now get a short text which allows you to examine the area. After that, you'll either be fighting an opponent or have a countdown screen saying you’re examining it. If you do get to fight an opponent, you will have to defeat him to complete the quest.
4. Defeat X Bandits/Deserters/etc. - This is most certainly the most difficult task you can get. You'll have to find out where you can find which opponent, and you'll have to defeat two of these opponents. After you did so, return to the Tavern to get your reward. I will include a table saying who is to be found where right after this one.
5. Speak with somebody in the city. - The guy in the Tavern uses difficult names to describe the one you should be looking for, but if you just click every button in the city, you will find the one you're looking for. Once you did, read what they have to tell you and then click 'continue'.

- Medusa: Mist Mountains but also appear in other places

Which places do the names I get in the Quest mean?
- Stable-Lad: Stable

- Mountebank: Market
Some items can only be found on certain Enemies. These are the ones I know of:

- Sugilith Pendant: Guard
I just completed a Quest. How long will it take before I can take on another one?
- Easy Quests: 2 hours since you started the Quest.
- Standard Quests: 4 hours since you started the Quest.
- Hard Quests: 6 hours since you started the Quest.
Of course, you could decide to go on an Expedition without being on a quest too. After all, it will still get you Experience, Honor and Gold. Those, my young friend, are what you’re going to need most. You go on an Expedition by clicking the Land Map you see underneath your main navigation in the left panel. Once you do so, you can choose the place where you want to go on the Expedition. (Mist Mountains, Dark Woods, Barbarian Village, Bandit Camp, Pirate Harbour or Wolf Cave.) On the right of your screen, you will now see 'Expedition points: X / 12' - If this amount is 0 or 1, you will have to wait an hour until you get a new expedition point. If this amount is higher than 1, you'll be able to go on an Expedition. To do so, click one of the screens underneath this text. You will now be on an Expedition. The longer Expeditions will cost you more Expedition Points, but will also get you a larger reward if you successfully complete them.
So, how long does an Expedition take, and how much Expedition Points does it take?
For normal users:
- Short: 2 Expedition Points, 10 Minutes
- Middle: 4 Expedition Points, 20 Minutes
- Long: 6 Expedition Points, 30 Minutes
For Premium users:
- Short: 1 Expedition Points, 5 Minutes
- Middle: 2 Expedition Points, 10 Minutes
- Long: 3 Expedition Points, 15 Minutes
If you ran out of Expedition points, you should not worry. You will receive a new Expedition Point every hour. If you manage to win against your Expedition opponent, you will receive Honor, Gold and even Experience Points. Completing a Quest will get you those too though, and you will get more when completing a Quest. You might also receive an item as a reward. If you do, this item can be found in your Packages section. You will be able to use the item after dragging it into your Inventory, as explained in the ‘Messages’ section.
