Attacking

One of the best ways to gain a little extra cash, damage an enemy and gain experience is to attack other players. When attacking other players your offensive score takes on the defending players defense score.

If your offensive score is higher than the defending players defensive score, you will win the attack. Each player can only be attacked 75 times (normal attacks) by another player in any 12 hour period.


Experience: For each attack won, you gain roughly 5,000 experience, your experience is used to increase your army level. Each army level requires a certain amount of experience to advance to the next level.


Damaging Items
: When attacking another player, you slowly damage their items, thus lowering their net worth and pushing them further down in the rankings. The larger the battle the more items will be destroyed. Currently Armor is the first type of item destroyed, if you manage to wear through your enemies armor their weapons begin to take damage. Once you get past the weapons the Vehicles are next and after the vehicles... Their tools.


Retaliation:
A feature implemented to help you get back at the players who have attacked you and won in the last 12 hours. When you are attacked by another player and they defeat you, you will be able to attack them back with a special type of attack called retaliation three times for every time they defeated you in the last 12 hours. Each retaliation attack you perform will also not spark retaliation against you, and when retaliating, an additional 30% will be added to your offensive score.


Banking

Deposit limit:
Your deposit limit is upgradeable through the upgrades page, it starts out at $0 but it can be significantly upgraded.


Transaction Limit: Your transaction limit depends on which type of account you currently have. VIP subscribers can have as much as 4x the transaction limits in one day as a non-subscribing member. Your transaction limits also expire on a rolling timer. As each of your previous transactions reaches the 24 hour old mark, you'll be able to do another transaction.


Interest:
Every tick (10 minutes) you gain interest on your money, the current calculation is (rate * balance / 144). Your interest rate is determined by your account type. Subscribers have a higher interest rate than non-subscribing players.


The Battlefield

The battlefield is by far the most risky, yet profitable, places in Xtratic War. In the battlefield players fight to control very rewarding continents, however, risk all of their battlefield troops.


When in the battlefield you can exploit for money or recruit the local people to join your army. The amount of money gained and units recruited is based heavily on how many units you move into the continent and how long you are willing to stay in the same continent.

If attacked by a player with more units than you, you will stand little to no chance unless you pull out as quickly as possible or send more units in. You can only exploit or recruit in the battlefield a combined total of 10 times every 10 minutes. This is a rolling count so don't try doubling up when the turns come.


Due to the risks involved with the battlefield we recommend that no one under level 12 even attempt to enter the battlefield unless they a) know what they are doing or b) have a large number of units and is willing to loose them all for a quick buck.


Exploiting

Here you can exploit the local resources to gain either money or experience. You can only exploit for experience after having reached level four. The amount of experience or money gained is based solely on what type of exploiting you are doing.

As your level increases you will be able to exploit different types of areas for more experience or more funds. Unfortunately the soldiers of your army don't always agree with what you are doing so you may find a large number of them leaving you after you've exploited.


Mercenaries


The mercenaires page is used to sell off your extra soldiers or units and allow other people to purchase them, or purchase some extra units for yourself. The number of mercenaries available is limited to the number of units people sell. If no one has sold any of their units, there will be none to purchase.


Missions

Missions are a good way to make a little extra cash and experience, there are 9 missions for each faction and each faction has a different 9 missions. The amount of experience and cash you gain for successfully completing a mission depends largely on your army level. The higher your army level, the more you will earn.


Recruiting


Recruiting new soldiers is a must for any army, without new recruits your ranks will begin to deminish and you'll go no where fast. Here you can spend your turns getting new recruits. The amount of new recruits you gain depends heavily on your army level, the higher your army level, the more recruits you will receive per turn.


Training


Here you are able to train your almost otherwise useless recruits into something more useful. There are multiple types of units you can train your recruits into and all of them have a different purpose, requirement, and function so we'll run through each one.


Battlefield Troops:
Used strictly in the battlefield, although you can use your recruits in the battlefield also, these units will yield more rewards when exploiting or recruiting in the battlefield. If you plan to play in the battlefield you're going to want a decent number of these. The more you have, the better the rewards.


Defensive Men:
Around strictly for protection of your other items and money when someone is attacking you. The higher your defense score the better chance you have at defending against an attacker. Each one of these units requires a piece of armor from the armory to become useful. Each soldier can only use one item.


Offensive Men:
The exact opposite of defensive soldiers, these units, when equipped with weapons from the armory are used to attack other players. The higher your offense score the better chance you have at winning an attack against another player. Each one of these units requires a weapon and each soldier can only use one weapon at a time.


Miners:
When equipped with a tool, these guys increase the amount of money you generate every 10 minutes (per tick). The higher your mining score the more you will generate. They offer no assistance in the heat of battle however the money they produce does help replenish the ranks. Each miner requires one tool purchasable in the armory and each miner can only use one tool at a time.


Vehicle Operators:
These guys are used to control vehicles. Every vehicle in the factory requires one Vehicle Operator to use it. Vehicles are used to both increase your offense score and your defense score at the same time. Vehicles also have the greatest bonus firepower for your money. We recommend having a large number of vehicle operators and vehicles at hand to both attack other players and defend the home front.
