Resource Production Table
The table on the left shows you the number of workers, units, spies, and nukes your colony has. The food bar displays the amount of food required for your next colony growth. See population for more details.
The table on the right shows the total breakdown of the 4 other resource. Facilities produce a certain amount based off of the buildings you've constructed, your workers will produce a certain amount of resources per tick, and resources can also be gained from taxation. It also shows the outgoing resources from tributes, maintenance of units, and outposts.
Colony
Colonies are the most important structures in the game. Every player has one (and just one) and almost everything happens around colonies. It's up to you how well you think you should defend your colony. Your colony can not be taken away from you, but it can be conquered. Also, as you get more workers the colony's appearance changes.
Role Of Colonies
The colony plays main roles ranging from production to deployment. Most of the features are listed below:
Population With Production
Colonies can contain a maximum of 500 Workers without outposts. The more workers that stay in a Colony, the more resources a player will receive per hour. Once the Colony-maximum of 500 workers is reached, a player can build Outposts (OP) to increase the population cap by 100 Workers per OP. Colonies can contain a maximum of a 1000 workers, no more (reached by having 5 Outposts). See population for more details. No matter how many OP's you own, your worker cap cannot rise above 1000.
Crystal Storage
New players receive one Crystal after building the level-4 Metal structure which is kept in the Colony. Other players will try to steal the Crystal. This can only be prevented by the initial Protection stage and by recruiting military units and defending attacks (once Protection expires). See Relics & Crystals.
FAQ
FAQ or frequently asked questions that players have asked are answered below by other players. If you want to ask a question, please add it on the talk page and someone will get back on it.
Can I lose my colony completely (as in "Game Over")?
No, the only things that can happen to your colony are:
1.Being Conquered: You have to pay tribute to your conquerer, but can continue to grow/build/recruit as normal and you can break free by means of rebelling. See Taxation, Tribute & Rebellion for more infomation.
2.Being Sabotaged: Certain amounts of resources can be destroyed by an enemy through advanced spy actions (oil burned, workers killed, energy overloaded). See Spies & Covert Ops.
3.Being Nuked: Colonies lose some forces through this, but only outposts are fully destroyed by nukes. See Nukes for more information.
However, if you do not go on Battledawn for 7 days without vacation mode on, your account will be deleted, permanently.
What is a UFO? What is that thing flying around?
The UFOs are bonuses. Hover your cursor over them, and you will get one of the following:
- Metal
- Oil
- Energy
- Workers
The amount of bonus resources you get is random. More detais can be found at UFO Bonus.
