Orbital dock and Accessories

The orbital dock is required for spaceships design and assembling. The number of supported projects depends on dock level. To create a ship project choose an available hull of the necessary level.

Then move to "Available accessories" to choose the type and the number of engines to be installed (from 1 up to maximum), the required additional modules, weapons and other ship accessories. The weight of all accessories cannot exceed the maximum carrying capacity of the hull. The engine power for any type of flights cannot exceed 65300.

When everything is set up, press "OK" and enter an original project name (you cannot change the name in the future). After that your project will appear in your dock and will become available for ships' assembling.

Ships' assembling is performed according to the established order. You cannot cancel the assembling of ships that have already been added to the list.

However, you can disassemble an already assembled and stored ship and return all the accessories and a part of the funds spent for assembling.

Accessories' assembling is performed according to the established order. You cannot cancel the assembling of accessories that have already been added to the list.

You cannot disassemble already assembled accessories. You may assemble accessories starting from level 1 up to the maximum studied level at a price, proportional to the chosen level.

Space battles

Battles may take place at a planet, at a hypergate or in open space. A battle starts when the fleets of players who are at war meet each other in the same coordinates, or if a fleet arrives at an area where another player's ships are set on patrol with the "Attack all" option.

Any player with a rating over 1000 may participate in battles. A battle is possible only if the difference between the players' military rank doesn't exceed 5 points. This condition doesn't apply to battles with Targons.

Each fleet is conventionally divided into groups, where each ship type is a separate group; each group of ships acts independently from the others. For example, fighters would be in one group and battleships in another group.

In length the battle field is conventionally divided into 10 positions (lines), along which the groups of ships may move forward and, depending on the distance between them, use the available weapons. Each type of weapons has its specific range of fire, specified in the description.

In case of a battle on any planet of the player's system (except for hypergate), the planetary destroyer guns, mounted on the hyperspace gate in that system may hit any target within the range of the star system and cannot be destroyed. All the weapons, except for those using rockets, require helium-3 to shoot.

The range of fire of the Targons' fleets is +2 lines wider as compared with the range for the rest of the races.

In this example the blue group is on line 1, and the red group - on line 2. The distance between them is - 6 lines (positions).

Note: in your fleet settings the paramount position for attack is reflected as 6, while for your enemy this same position is reflected under number 3.

The ships start the fight from line 1, the weapon emplacements and the hypergate - from line 0.

The battle is singlestep. Each step each group of ships moves ahead to a distance that depends on the ship hull and the interplanetary speed of the ship. The given number of battle cycles the fleet will advance gradually, until it will reach the line which was set for the fleet (in the fleet settings - the parameter "Line"), and will keep fighting from that line until it reaches the established number of battle cycles.

When the established values are achieved, the ships will move back to line 0 with the same speed. When all the groups of the fleet will reach line 0, the fleet may leave the battle field.

The number of battle cycles, as well as the line, to which the group advances (column "Line") and the paramount attack line (column "Attack") may be set in the fleet options.

After each move the group of ships seeks for a target according to the fleet options and the parameters of the used weapons. And an exchange of shots takes place.

The weapon power can increase when using a ballistic calculator, or can decrease due to the usage of specific covering, additional armor, antimissile systems, or to a greater shot distance.

After each move you get a log message, describing what ships have been destroyed. A part of the accessories that remained intact are collected by the enemy ships. Another part of the accessories drop on the nearest asteroid field.

For destruction of enemy fleets and weapon emplacements the player gets military points, which depend on the parameters of the destroyed ship and the difference between the military rank of the battle participants. The same number of military points is lost by the player, who lost ships or weapon emplacements.

Star map

The star map becomes available after the construction of an "Astronomy laboratory". The map displays the explored area that depends on the development level of the Astronomy laboratory, astrophysics, espionage and other constructions and sciences. By pointing the stars with the cursor you can see their name and coordinates.

You can obtain more detailed information by clicking on them. The map also shows the routes of your ships and those of ships flying to your planet. The star systems having hyperspace gates are marked with a blue square in the center of the star. The red square indicates that the hypergate has a license factory.

The Universe consists of several galaxies. The distance between them is about 20000-45000 light years. Each star system has its ID number and coordinates. The star orbit may contain up to 5 bodies (objects) - planets, asteroid fields and one hyperspace gate.

For example:
Sun ( 50815 )
Coordinates: 32551 - 32739
planet - 1 no life
planet - 2 no life
planet - 3 JonDo
4 - asperoif field
5 - hyper.gate JonDo

Sun
- the name of the star and the entire star system.

50815 - ID number of the star system.

32551 - 32739 - the coordinates of the star system in the galaxy (X:Y).

planet - 1 no life - It means that this planet is uninhabited. For more details about the planet click on planet-1

planet - 3
JonDo
- It means that this planet is settled by the player JonDo. The color of the player's name indicates his/her race affiliation:

green
- humanoids

blue - silicoids

yellow - insectoids

red - plasmoids

4 - asteroid field
- This are your reserves of resources in the form of asteroids. As far as you're under newbies protection (up to rating 500) it will remain untouchable for other players. As soon as you lose the protection this field can be taken out (stolen) by other players, so be careful! The stock of resources on the asteroid field is limited.

5 - hyper. gate JonDo
- It shows that on the star orbit there is a hypergate belonging to JonDo. The hyperspace gate is used as a beacon indicating to ships flying in the hyperspace the exact exit coordinates. This is mandatory condition for hyperspace flights. Moreover, the hypergate is used as orbital base and you can build different structures on it, including certain constructions that cannot be erected on the planets, e.g. Commanders' school and Power converter. The fleets passing through the hypergate may buy helium-3 from a special tank having a capacity of 5000 units. Each level of helium depot adds 5000 to the total amount of available helium.
